We are happy to announce that the nomination for the 2011 Philippine Blog Awards will start on the 30th of June 2011. Bayanihan: The 2011 Philippine Blog Awards Night will be held at near the end of 2011 from November to December in different venues in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
In the next few days we will be posting information about the 2011 awards that will include but not limited to the list of categories, eligibility requirements and general FAQs.

Hi there PH Blog Awards. There seems to be a problem with the nomination page as it redirects to a blogsite that a registered user has nominated earlier. I have experienced the same earlier. Another blogger had also experienced it by him having said that the default URL of the nomination redirects to my blogsite. Please fix the issue. Thanks.

I found the registration/validation weird. I tried to register but it gives me an invalid validation code w/c is only 9 characters.
On the validation page it says “The Validation Code field must be at least 10 characters in length.”
Here’s what was given to me Validation Code: 4o8v2hd2m
Tried registering in 2 different emails, still giving me 9 characters.

I also received a 9-character validation code and so I registered again, and I finally received a 10-character code which does not work! Hope this gets fixed soon. Most likely a bug.

It says that we should “copy the code below” for the PBA banner, but the code isn’t showing. How can we have banner on our blogs especially since we are nominated. Makaka apekto ba pag wala kang banner sa blog? , baka kasi hindi makasama sa pagpili ng mga finalists pag walang banner eh sayang naman.
Saan sinabi yung instruction na kelangan maglagay nung banner?

I’ve been trying to access a nomination for the site but when I try to validate the code it keeps giving me an error message
Where is the code to paste on the blogs po? It says to copy/paste the code after accepting the nomination but the code is not anywhere within the page?
So I have a question, say PBA receives 500 different blog nominations for category X, how does PBA trim down the nominees? how do they choose the finalists?

I noticed po from your announcement above that the Philippine Blog Awards Night are held from November to December. May correction lang po kasi for Mindanao, the Mindanao Blogging Summit 5 is on October 29, 2011, which is also the venue for the Philippine Blog Awards-Mindanao.
The Summit will be hosted by Iligan City po.

I have to agree with Fao. The nomination process is kind of complicated. And also, do we get an EMBED Logo/Badge for our blog saying that we are Nominated just like on 2009?

Everybody seems to be experiencing the same problems and difficulties on the nomination process, particularly on how to confirm that your blog has been “entered” after you’ve accepted a nomination. There is also the common problem about the EMBED CODE that is no where to be found.
But it seems no answers are forthcoming.
