Congratulations, thanks but wait there is more

Thank you for supporting the 2009 Philippine Blog Awards. Congratulations to tbe winners and many thanks to all participants and supporters of the 2009 Philippine Blog Awards . Without your support and feedback we would not have had a great event.

But like what they say in those infomercials and is true also in this case: Wait there is more: (i)This weekend we will be having the 2009 Philippine Blog Awards Dinner for the Visayas at Cebu. (ii) And the week after that the 2009 Philippine Blog Awards Dinner for the Mindanao at Cagayan De Oro.

Also thank you for supporting the Dry Clothes charity drive with RockEd during the awards night. The response was overwhelming. But it is not yet over.

San Miguel Corporation has also donated thirty cases of beer that will be sold and from which the proceeds will go to charity. Again the Philippine Blog Awards is doing this in partnership with RockEd.

THE PHILIPPINE BLOG AWARDS & GLOBE TELECOM: One Blogging Nation and Bangon Pinoy

The Philippine Blog Awards has partnered with Globe Telecom in an initiative through Bangon Pinoy to raise funds for Ondoy and Peping victims through the use of twitter:

Use the #BangonPinoy hashtag, Globe and PBA will guarantee P1.00 to be spent for Ondoy and Pepeng victims. After the hashtag, post pictures, videos, quotes and even links to blog posts that will inspire Filipinos around the world to help as well. This happens from Oct 19 to Nov 3, prior the Nov 6 Help day.

What are Help Days?

or more exactly Bangon Pinoy Help days – These are two “Help days” where bloggers go together with Globe employees to do actual help in:

Marikina, Oct 19 – ISP reconnection and school clean-up

Region 1 / 2, Nov 6 – Replanting

What is Bangon Pinoy?
