Nokia N82 raffle for the VOTERS of the Bloggers’ Choice Award

Bloggers! Have you voted for your favorite blog for the Bloggers’ Choice Award yet? You should. Why? Because we are having a special raffle ONLY FOR THE VALID VOTERS who have blogged about their favorite nominee. Valid voters will get a chance to win a Nokia N82!!!

Bloggers who have voted for their favorite blogs vying for the Bloggers’ Choice Awards are automatically given one raffle entry for a chance to win the Nokia N82 unit. In order for your vote to be valid, you MUST follow the mechanics we have provided here. Simply submitting the blog URL of your choice WILL NOT count as a vote—you must create a blog entry about your choice and submit us the link in order for your vote to be considered valid. No blog entry = no vote = no raffle entry.

The winner of this special Voters’ raffle will be drawn during the Awarding Ceremonies of the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards this coming Sunday, 21 September 2008, at One Esplanade. However, even if the winner of this Voters’ raffle cannot attend the Awards Night, it’s ok. We can just arrange something with you after the event. The important thing is, you must have a valid vote in order to take part in this special raffle.

Bloggers who already cast their votes will receive a confirmation email and a special Voters’ raffle ticket and number within the week. Likewise, if you have provided insufficient information (ex. we can’t find the vote post in your blog) or just submitted your chosen nominee’s URL, we will also inform you through email.

Keep those votes coming!!!

More on the Bloggers Choice Mechanics

Dear Friends,

Due to recent feedback, the PBA has decided to make the voting process easier for the Bloggers Choice Award:

To make the voting process easier for bloggers, we’ve updated the Bloggers Choice nomination process.

After writing your BLOGGER CHOICE nomination post, it is completely optional if you wish to post the links of the sponsors using the generated form. You may also wish to use a rel="nofollow" tag as well. Afterward, please submit the entry to the designated form.

We need you to post the nominations on your blog because it is the easiest way to track and confirm if the vote comes from a bona fide blogger - whether the blog is self-hosted or hosted on services like Blogspot, Multiply, etc.

Sincerely,

The PBA 2008 Team :)

Voting for the Bloggers’ Choice Award is now open!

And the nominees are…

But hang on a sec. This year’s voting is quite different from last year’s. In order for us to accurately tally the bloggers who voted, we jazzed up the voting a bit and made it more exciting.

To vote, you MUST be a Filipino blogger, which means, you need to own a blog. You might be blogging on Blogger, Wordpress.Com, Live Journal, Friendster, Multiply, or on a self-hosted blog—it doesn’t matter—the point is, you need to have a blog to vote. Your blog must be established at least three (3) months from today with a minimum of 10 posts.

Why? Well, read on for the instructions on how to vote for your favorite Bloggers’ Choice Award nominee!

  • Choose only ONE (1) blog from the list of official Bloggers’ Choice Award nominees above. On your blog, tell us why you voted for the nominee. Yes, you can vote for your own blog. And no, you cannot vote for a blog that is not on the list of official Bloggers’ Choice Award nominees.
  • You may choose to include the sponsors list in your post. We’d like to thank our sponsors for supporting local Pinoy bloggers.
